WOW Festival – La Jolla Playhouse

Without Walls (WOW) is La Jolla Playhouse’s signature performance program that takes art outside traditional theatre walls and into unique spaces, including the annual WOW Festival and WOW stand-alone productions.

From a car to a bar, from a beach to a basement, WOW invites audiences of all ages to interact with artists and art in unexpected ways, bringing people together and reimagining what storytelling can be.

La Jolla Playhouse’s celebrated annual WOW Festival is a four-day celebration of immersive, interactive and surprising art experiences from local, national and international artists. This is theatre - without walls.

From April 24 – 27, discover more than 20 new works including free and paid events with fun for the whole family. WOW Festival is presented in partnership with UC San Diego and takes over locations around the campus in La Jolla.
