SDAD works behind the scenes and out in the community to connect artists, organizations, businesses, and the public, create opportunities for artists, amplify local arts and culture, and advocate for a stronger creative economy in San Diego County.
There are many ways to help make that work possible. Some take a financial investment, while others simply take a few minutes, a little reach, or a willingness to make a connection. #1 Vehicle Or Property Donation
We partner with CarEasy.org, a 501(c)(3) organization, that makes the vehicle donation process smooth and easy. They handle everything from pickup to auctioning your old, unwanted car. The significant amount of proceeds from your old car sale will directly benefit San Diego Art Directory. Your donation is tax-deductible.

#2 Adopt A Program

- $500 | Open SDAN to 14 Creative Professionals.
A $500 gift can provide a full year of SDAN membership to 14 local creatives, giving them access to create professional profiles, portfolios, service listings, and opportunities to connect with businesses looking for creative talent.
- $1,000 | Put San Diego Visual Artists in Front of Designers
Help SDAD build stronger connections between local artists and the interior design community. Your gift will support SDAD’s annual membership with the American Society of Interior Designers, opening the door to new relationships, visibility, and opportunities to introduce San Diego artists to design professionals.
- $1,500 | Open the Door to Activated Spaces
A $1,500 gift allows SDAD to waive submission fees for artists participating in Activated Spaces while providing fair compensation to the curator who makes each exhibition possible. Your support helps us create more accessible opportunities for artists without shifting the cost onto the people we want to serve.
- $3,000+ | Strengthen the Infrastructure Behind SDAD
As our community grows, so does the technology we need to stay connected with thousands of artists, organizations, subscribers, partners, and supporters.
