The Studio Door: Art Gallery

Hillcrest’s premier art gallery The Studio Door is a unique art center located just minutes from downtown San Diego and Balboa Park. Since 2014, it has become known for its diverse gallery of contemporary art, 17 working artist studios, monthly community events and the neighborhood’s expanding Mural Alley. Great destination for locals, tourist and art lovers.  Annual exhibitions include The Crow Show, Works of Excellence, PROUD+ and ART+ LGBT History Month.

The Studio Door is located at 3867 Fourth Avenue, San Diego, CA 92103-3113 between University Avenue and Robinson Avenue in the Hillcrest Neighborhood. Metered street parking and small parking lots are available throughout the neighborhood. Meters are enforced 10 AM – 8 PM. The closest parking lot is just one door down at 3835 4th Avenue. Pricing varies by day and time.
