Student Arts Challenge: From Hazard to Hope

The Samuel Lawrence Foundation invites young artists ages 15 to 25 to enter “From Hazard to Hope: Arts in Action,” a student arts challenge exploring the transition from nuclear waste to clean energy. Entries are welcome in any creative medium, including visual art, poetry, music, film, and dance. The art must either represent the dangers of nuclear waste, or a hope for a renewable future. The winning entries receive a $150 prize and will be featured in connection with the San Onofre Symposium on August 20 at Scripps Seaside Forum in La Jolla. Submissions are due August 8.
