The NEW Saturday Social at Ilan-Lael offers a fresh tour experience.

Join us for an engaging afternoon featuring a casual cocktail hour, where you’ll enjoy insightful presentations on art history and architecture from some of our valued creative collaborators. Guests will have the chance to connect and discuss these topics while exploring the beautiful grounds. Standard 90-minute docent led tour included.

Admission:

  • $130/person – 2 person minimum
  • Limit 5 passengers per car

May 31st, Eric Jones of Volcan Mountain Foundation will present on the importance of land conservation and stewardship

Eric Jones, President and Executive Director of the Volcan Mountain Foundation (which Anne Hubbell was a founding member of) works to preserve the unique ecological diversity of the Volcan Mountain range, a landscape that deeply resonated with artist James Hubbell. Nature, in its raw and untamed beauty, was a profound inspiration for Hubbell, frequently becoming the subject of his vibrant watercolors.


Admission Includes:

  • 10% off in our online and in-person gift shop of books, Hubbell art, and more
  • One year of unlimited streaming access to the Hubbell Online Channel
  • Extra time at the Ilan-Lael with a curated experience (see schedule for details)
  • Happy Hour with alcoholic beverage and light snack

Admission fees go entirely to support Ilan-Lael Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit dedicated to preserving the Hubbell property and its legacy of bringing art and nature to the community.

Wander with Wonder!

Located on 10 acres of oak woodlands near Julian, California, the Ilan-Lael compound encompasses living quarters, studio and gallery spaces, gardens and a public building for the Ilan-Lael Foundation. Tours are approximately 2 hours long and limited to small groups to enhance your experience. Enjoy the on-site gallery and gift shop offering Hubbell art, books, hand-crafted artisan items, and more. Ilan-Lael is located just over an hour from San Diego and about 2 1/2 hours from Los Angeles.

Parking:
Parking for this tour is at Ilan-Lael foundation, 930 Orchard Lane, Julian, CA 92036. Driving and parking directions will be emailed upon receipt of the tour purchase.

Accessibility:
Due to the historic nature of the private home, not all buildings have ramps and handicap access. This tour is not recommended for those who have difficulty walking or need any assistance standing or walking i.e. walkers or canes. Paths are not paved, and some buildings are accessible only by steps and/or stairs.

Reservations are required. 
Tickets may be exchanged or refunded up to 7 days prior to tour date.
