We were all creative as kids—so why do so many of us lose connection with our creativity?
Join me for a dive into our relationship with creativity. Through journaling, meaningful conversation, and some light, intuitive artmaking (no experience needed), we’ll investigate our narratives around creativity and discover how we can infuse more of it into our lives.

Who is this event for?
Whether you’re someone who “wasn’t the creative one” growing up, a daily artist, or somewhere in between, you’ll be welcomed into a relaxed and inclusive group. If you’re looking to experiment more, reconsider your assumptions on creativity, and connect with a sense of play and adventure—this event is for you.

And who are you?
Hi, I’m Anna—a writer, creativity group facilitator, and former “down-to-earth, business one” of the friend group. As a kid, I was effortlessly creative. I danced, wrote stories, and subjected my parents to endless performances of original comedy skits. But by the time I reached college, I considered myself entirely not creative; creativity was for certain types of people, and I was not one of them.
After years of wading through these narratives and habits holding me back from being creative, I launched The Creative Life to continue the journey with others. Currently, I’m into improv, writing short stories, and crochet, plus I think I’m on the brink of an abstract collage phase.
