San Diego- based artist Laura Green is displaying paintings at the Escondido Branch Library for the month of May. "Protect, Preserve and Remember" is a part of a larger exhibit which depicts fleeting moments in nature with children. Green uses an impressionistic style to also depict local birds which are commonly seen in the San Diego area. As a member of local arts groups in North County, she has a nature scene utility box at Sunset Dr and Bear Valley Parkway in Escondido.
