Open Call: Passages – Works of and about Transition

The Bard Hall Art Guild is seeking wall hangable art for their next exhibition portraying “Passages”.

This could be a single person or a group of people. It could also be a landscape, cityscape, room with no one in it. We are looking for works that portray many kinds of passages from road or rivers to life to death and dark to light.
There is never a submission or entry fee for our shows.
If you have a work you THINK might fit our theme, let us be the judges.

*Evaluation submissions (jpeg photos) are submitted through on-line form.
*Electronic Deadline for submissions is November 5th.
*Delivery details available on acceptance (Nov. 21)
*There is NO submission fee or entry fee.
*Display will be live at the Bard Hall Gallery from November 22, 2024 to January 8, 2025
*A live reception will be on the evening of Thursday, December 12.
*Artists are asked to bring refreshments for their guests.
*Submissions are limited to space available.
*Please send us jpeg photos of your top three works that you would like to enter.
*Last date for submissions is November 5, 2024.
*Work must be your original work and not have been shown in Bard before.
*Selections will be made by a committee of Bard Art Guild members.
*You will be notified after November 5 which of your works have been selected for the exhibition.

Bard Hall is located in the Unitarian Universalist Church hall in Hillcrest at 4190 Front St, San Diego, CA 92103. The Art Guild seeks to recognize and celebrate emerging artists as well as those more experienced. Our bimonthly art shows have a theme and we feature artists in our church as well as other San Diego artists. At our opening celebration, artists and guests attend and artists share thoughts about their work. There is no cost to submit artwork for consideration.
