Open Call for all art media: Homegrown ArtBeat

San Diego Art Directory is hosting a multidisciplinary one-night event, Homegrown Art Beat, on September 6 at Union Hall Gallery. Learn more here: Homegrown ArtBeat

Eligible art:

We are looking for visual arts in all media, including but not limited to:

• painting
• mixed media
• photography
• wall-hanging sculpture
• textile arts
• digital art (to project on the screen)
• short film or animation (to project on the screen)

Each artist will be given a section of the wall to arrange a mini solo exhibit. Digital art slideshows and film/animation will be projected on the screen in one or two specially dedicated spots during the event.

Application details:

• Submission is free
• Artists are allowed to put their art for sale; 100% of sales proceeds go directly to artists
• To apply, send an email to beseen@sandiegoartdirectory.com with a subject "HART application." Include a short description, website, Instagram, or portfolio, and why you are interested in participating in this event.
