Back again! The long-standing Father’s Day Open House, a Hubbell tradition since 1969.
This self-guided, walking tour lets you explore the enchanting Hubbell family home and studios at your own pace. Our newly designed walking trail will welcome you to the Foundation and Hubbell Home. Once arrived, you will wander through winding paths and vibrant gardens, discovering the magic of this unique space, Ilan-Lael. To honor the first Hubbell Open House in 1969, The San Diego Youth Symphony will play throughout the property. Immerse yourself in the art and nature that define this special place.
Admission:
Admission fees go entirely to support Ilan-Lael Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit dedicated to preserving the Hubbell property and its legacy of bringing art and nature to the community.
Admission Includes:
Located on 10 acres of oak woodlands near Julian, California, the Ilan-Lael compound encompasses living quarters, studio and gallery spaces, gardens and a public building for the Ilan-Lael Foundation. Self-guided Tours are approximately 1-2 hours long. Enjoy the on-site gallery and gift shop offering Hubbell art, books, hand-crafted artisan items, and more. Ilan-Lael is located just over an hour from San Diego and about 2 1/2 hours from Los Angeles.

Parking:
Parking for this tour is at Ilan-Lael foundation, 930 Orchard Lane, Julian, CA 92036. Driving and parking directions will be emailed upon receipt of the tour purchase.
Accessibility:
Due to the historic nature of the private home, not all buildings have ramps and handicap access. This tour is not recommended for those who have difficulty walking. Paths are not paved, and some buildings are accessible only by steps and/or stairs.
