CALL FOR ARTISTS  by Oceanside Theatre Company

ALL ARTISTS ARE INVITED TO SUBMIT ARTWORK FOR A CURATED ART EXHIBITION AT THE BROOKS THEATER GALLERY, 217 N. COAST HIGHWAY, IN DOWNTOWN OCEANSIDE, CA 92084

Theme:  Black Perspective - Family, Community, Heritage

~  Exhibition serves as a visual partner to Oceanside Theatre Company’s Black Pioneers program February 17 & 18 and the Southern California Premiere of Chicken & Biscuits, March 8 – 24.

Artistic Director Kevin “Blax” Burroughs shares, “Audiences should be ready for a much-needed therapeutic session of black joy, love, and laughter.”

~  Exhibition runs 1/9 – 3/26.  Exhibit celebration at Artist Open House, January 12, drop in 5:30 – 8 pm. Free & open to all

 TO SUBMIT ARTWORK:

  • Email images to cnaegele@oceansidetheatre.org
  • Online submission deadline: January 4, 5 pm
  • Response within 1 week
  • Art drop off: Tuesday, January 9 from 10 am to 4 pm.
