Hello! I am a poet living in Chula Vista. You can read some of my poetry at www.JeffBettgerPoetry.com and view my list of publications, presentations and awards. I have been a Realtor in the South Bay for the past 24 years. Previously, I was a professor of Special Education. Education is always in my heart. I have created a website entitled www.PagesAndCanvas.com to connect poets, painters, and authors in the Chula Vista/South Bay area. A top priority for me is to create publication and presentation opportunities for high school and Southwestern College students here in Chula Vista. I particularly enjoy interviewing local artists about their creative journey, moments that gave them confidence in their abilities, and advice they have for newer artists.
