The Cabrillo Chamber Orchestra was founded by director Gregory Lawrence in 2001.
CCO Mission Statement
CCO’s mission is to produce rehearsals and performances or chamber orchestra repertoire at the highest, expressive and technical professional standards. CCO features San Diego County musicians as core CCO musicians, guest soloists and guest conductors, but also include artists from elsewhere.
In addition to vast great chamber orchestra repertoire, CCO performs neglected works as well new works by local and other composers.
